Our Infant program introduces the basic concepts of numbers, shapes, colors, beginning sounds, reading, logical thinking, tracing, public speaking and much more. To introduce and reinforce these concepts, we continuously stimulate the child’s mind through interactive learning, songs, poems, creative play, and circle time. This program is specifically designed to build a strong foundation for your child (0-18 months).
Our Pre-Kindergarten program introduces children to reading, abstract thinking, problem solving, math, science, and social studies, along with arts and crafts, music, movement, and public presentation. As the child progresses through these levels, they are taught more advanced concepts in reading, writing, math, critical and logical thinking; this stage of development is critical for kindergarten entry.
Our Kindergarten students receive deeper instruction in biblical reading as their behavior habits form and cognition develops. Their studies focus on the English language, arts, math, science, and social studies, with technology integration, to prepare them for the 1st grade.
Our First graders are introduced to handwriting, arithmetic, spelling, music, reading, and science. This developmental class will also introduce learning in physical education and computer technology, and is a place where we strive to holistically educate our child, academically, emotionally, physically, socially, and spiritually, so they are prepared for grade school.
Our Curriculum.
At Destiny Academy, we offer Preschool and Kindergarten-appropriate curriculum that is designed to identify and build on their cognitive abilities and motor skills. Our goal is that every child will achieve realistic learning milestones and experience early success.
Abeka
Abeka, our faith-based curriculum, focuses on building character and planting seeds of faith according to biblical truths starting at the preschool age, so their development is nurtured in love.
In addition, we understand how important education and social development is beginning in toddlerhood. So, to facilitate learning we use a hands-on approach with respect to the child's learning level and style; this will lay a strong academic foundation for your child and prepare them for the next grade of their educational journey.
